Its pillar-mounted structure supports a horizontal jib arm that allows the hoist and suspended load to move within a defined operating radius.

Unlike an overhead or gantry crane that covers a long runway, a slewing jib crane serves a defined working area around a fixed pillar.

The jib arm length, slewing angle, hook approach and lifting height are coordinated with the workstation, surrounding equipment, building clearances and operator access.
