KGS SERIES · FLEXIBLE GANTRY LIFTING SYSTEM
KGS Single Girder Gantry Crane
Flexible Material Handling for Workshops, Yards and Industrial Sites
The KGS single girder gantry crane provides flexible overhead
material handling for indoor workshops, covered production areas,
outdoor yards and industrial sites.
Its self-supporting gantry structure can be considered where a
fully building-supported overhead crane runway is unavailable,
impractical or unsuitable for the required working area.
Capacity, span, lifting height, travel length, cantilever coverage,
control method and environmental protection are configured around
the actual site and operating requirements.

FLEXIBLE HANDLING SOLUTION
Flexible Lifting Coverage Without Relying on a Fully Building-Supported Runway
A gantry crane carries the bridge through its own supporting legs
and normally travels on a ground-level runway.
This arrangement can provide overhead lifting coverage inside
workshops, across covered production areas or throughout outdoor
yards where a conventional building-supported overhead crane
runway is unavailable or unsuitable.
- Self-supporting gantry structure
- Suitable for indoor, covered or outdoor working areas
- Span and travel coordinated with the site layout
- Direct material movement between operating zones
OUTDOOR WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Configured for Wind, Rain, Corrosion and Site Conditions
WIND CONDITIONS
Site wind data is reviewed when determining operating limits and storm-protection measures.
ELECTRICAL PROTECTION
Electrical equipment can be selected according to the required outdoor protection level.
CORROSION PROTECTION
Surface preparation and coating specifications are selected for the confirmed environment.
STORM PROTECTION
Rail clamps, anchoring or other measures may be considered according to site conditions.
TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION
Technical Configuration for Site-Based Material Handling

INSTALLATION PLANNING
Coordinated Delivery, Assembly and Site Commissioning
01 · Site and Runway Review
Confirm ground conditions, rail position, runway length, power supply and site access.
02 · Foundation Interface
Coordinate wheel loads, rail details and foundation requirements with the responsible project team.
03 · Delivery and Assembly
Plan transport, unloading, assembly space and required site lifting equipment.
04 · Electrical Connection
Prepare power-supply and control interfaces according to the confirmed electrical scope.
05 · Commissioning Support
Installation guidance or on-site support can be provided according to the agreed scope.
LONG-TERM OPERATION
Designed Around Maintainability and Lifecycle Value
- Accessible component and inspection layout
- Duty-based hoist, drive and brake selection
- Environment-specific coating and electrical maintenance planning
- Project-specific spare-parts and documentation scope
A crane configuration selected around the actual operating
environment and duty requirements can support maintainability
and long-term operating value.

CRANE CONFIGURATION SELECTION
Is a KGS Single Girder Gantry Crane Right for Your Project?
KGS MAY BE SUITABLE WHEN:
- Lifting coverage is required across a workshop, yard or industrial site
- A fully building-supported overhead runway is unavailable or impractical
- The required capacity, span and duty are within the verified KGS range
- Cantilever coverage is required outside the clear span
- A rail-mounted gantry system fits the site layout
CONSIDER ANOTHER CONFIGURATION WHEN:
- Higher capacity or more intensive duty requires a double girder gantry crane
- A semi-gantry arrangement better suits the available support structure
- A conventional overhead crane is more suitable for the indoor building
- A specialized process crane is required
- The site cannot support the required runway or foundation arrangement
HEAVIER YARD LIFTING
Need a More Robust Gantry Crane Configuration?
For higher capacities, longer spans, more intensive operating duties or specialized lifting requirements, a double girder gantry crane may provide a more appropriate structural platform.
INDOOR WORKSHOP HANDLING
Would a Building-Supported Overhead Crane Better Suit the Workshop?
Where a suitable building-supported runway is available, a single
girder overhead crane may provide a more compact configuration
without ground-level gantry legs.
